OnTrack (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a UK retirement planning web app published by Cody1. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use OnTrack at cody1.co.uk/apps/ontrack and the OnTrack progressive web app.

Summary

OnTrack is local-first. The financial plan you build is stored in your browser (IndexedDB on your device). We do not operate a backend that receives or stores your pension, ISA, property, or other plan inputs.

Information stored on your device

When you use OnTrack, the app may store locally:

Assumptions and inputs you enter (ages, contributions, balances, property details, and similar planning data)
Scenario changes and settings
Exported backup files you choose to save via your browser or operating system

This data stays on your device unless you export it or clear site data in your browser.

Information we do not collect for core use

We do not require an account to use OnTrack.
We do not sell your financial plan data.
Core planning does not send your inputs to Cody1 servers.

Website hosting

The public website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most websites, Cloudflare may process connection metadata (such as IP address and request logs) for security and delivery. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Analytics

If we add privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to the marketing site in future, this policy will be updated. The local planning experience remains device-side.

Your choices

Export a JSON backup from Settings and store it where you choose.
Clear OnTrack data by removing site data for this origin in your browser.
Uninstall or stop using the PWA at any time.

Children

OnTrack is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
